I am a New York State licensed psychotherapist and psychoanalyst. I also experienced the therapeutic process myself when I was going through a difficulty time in my life. So, I know what its like to improve well-being through a commitment to the therapeutic process while also earning a living and maintaining personal relationships.
The therapeutic process helps you to recognize and transform your difficulties and provides you with practical tools for overcoming your challenges. During your therapy, we meet in grounded, realistic, and empathetic ways that orient you towards the graceful recognition of your problems and the celebration of your understanding, transformation, and healing.
When we actively engage in your therapeutic process of change, it has a positive holistic effect on you, your relationships, and the way you live and experience your life.
My rate is $125-200 per session based on your income. Not every therapist has taken the time to learn, train, study, and practice in my specialty. I also maintain a small practice. That way each client gets a bigger portion of my brain.
If you are ready to begin your therapeutic process, contact me to set up an appointment. As an alternative, I offer a 50-minute consultation. During your consultation, you can share with me what you are struggling with so that together we can discern the help you need and the change you desire. If you decide to continue, you are charged for your consultation. If not then it is free.
SCHEDULING AND PAYMENT
Sessions are held on a regular day and time once or twice a week depending on your need. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations less than 24 hours incur a full charge. Bills are distributed monthly and are expected to be paid in full within ten business days. Checks, PayPal, and HSA/FAS debit card payments are accepted.
I do not participate with insurance companies but can provide you with documentation to submit for out of network coverage. Employee Health Flexible Spending Accounts (FAS) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) tend to cover psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and many insurance companies will reimburse full or partially for out of network therapy.
